Head of Finance

This is a new role within our company and, we are looking for someone educated to degree/AAT qualified and/or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for running the finance function within our thriving business.

This exciting role will take responsibility for the finance function of the business and drive the business strategy (alongside fellow Heads of Service), financial strategy and planning. Responsible for the preparation of management accounts and cash flow forecasting, the successful candidate will be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail. This is a key role, in a growing business and therefore the role requires a hands-on approach from a candidate with strategic vision who can support the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing the production of monthly sales invoices for approval and distribution, reconciling to business unit pipelines
  • Issuing customer statements and proactively chasing debtors,
  • Preparation and analysis of management accounts
  • Preparing and analysing key business reports (WIP, sales forecasts, expenditure, job profitability, staff utilisation)
  • Preparation and submission of statutory accounts and similar statutory returns
  • Assisting with preparation for financial audits

Supporting in ensuring key operational systems including SAGE, Synergist and ADP are fully up-to-date and maximised across the business where appropriate, delivering training where appropriate.

Head of Operations Building Services Manager

This is a new role within our company, and we are looking for a highly organised & skilled individual to manage the role of Business Operations.

Working closely with the Managing Director & Heads of Service you will be responsible for influencing and driving forward company strategy, business priorities and targets.

Responsible for the planning, management & implementation of contract delivery, you will work with lead partners & customers to ensure business requirements are met within our Mechanical, Electrical & Fire & Security divisions.

You must be a highly effective leader with previous experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities & Duties:

  • Line Management responsibility for Contracts Managers
  • Liaise with main contractor/clients
  • Contribute to strategic & business development
  • Ensure project milestones & deadlines are met
  • Influence business planning & growth

Mechanical Contracts Manager

The role is permanent and will encompass managing the Mechanical Division by successfully delivering projects for our clients within the Construction Sector.

You will be required to:-

  • Manage site teams in the effective delivery of multiple projects
  • Liaise with Main Contractors/Clients
  • Keep clients and senior management updated on all matters
  • Ensure technical compliance on all installations
  • Ensure programme milestones and deadlines are met
  • Mange all commissioning activities

The successful candidate should:-

  • be ambitious, self-motivated and driven
  • have previous experience in the Building Services sector
  • have excellent communication skills
  • have a high level of technical knowledge

Previous experience within the Building Services Industry is essential.
